8 March 2010- Back again from our latest jaunt to the island of Great Britain. Not much touring around, literally in town for 24 hours. We scurrying off to the Borough Market for the international beer stand. You pay handsomely but you get all the good microbrews from the American West. Sierra Nevada, Left Hand Brewing, O'Dells, and our latest fave Great Divide Brewing from where else but Denver, Colorado. Lots of good things come from Denver (my Chad). We made our way to the hotel and then Trafalgar Pub on the Greenwich Pier to meet H-town friends J&J for pre-concert drinks. We hopped the Thames Clipper (best thing to get to and from O2) and enjoyed the show immensely. No 41 but lots of mix. The international crowd on the floor seemed to only know the popular ones. Okay by me, amateurs. Another hot beverage and hop on the Clipper back. We had our full English breakfast, Chad ate the beans. And then we got our next set of visitors started on the Dick Whitington's Ale Trail. Chad got made fun of by an old guy for wearing trainers but we were in a pub. No harm no foul. I lost a glove and found some suitable replacements at Covent Garden. A few more pints and dash off to the train. Back home where Junior Kitty cuddled with me all night. He is usually a Chad cuddler but figured I deserved the privilege last night. Now time for the ever present cleaning, shopping and errands.
Chad-chiladas to look forward to. Muchas gracias to having real Macayo's sauce on this latest batch. Bon lundi!
