I am curious how much paperwork is needed for the orange signs. These are on boulangeries (bakeries) and show the location of the next open boulangerie and the day of the week they are closed. Bread is very important here. Can't have a Parisian working this August chasing around after a baguette. The orange signs come from the Prefecture of Police, so serious business this Paris bread and pastries.
I feel a bit of vindication for my visits to the mairie and the paperwork from yesterday.
