7 August 2009- Off to Belgium for a petites vacances. We used our Thalys vouchers to get about half of the ride paid for. Praying for more delays, we still need to get to Cologne and Thalys could get us there. If more than 60 minutes late, they refund half of the ticket price back to you in vouchers. Come on problems north of Gare du Nord.
Very quiet in Paris. I think most of the neighbors in the building are gone. The gardienne is off next week through September. Even more closed signs up in the neighborhood.
Going to Atomium, the peeing boy and a store called BEER MANIA. Chad and I planned ahead and are each bringing heavy duty transport bags to do a little importing. Not going to many museums, after having the Louvre at my disposal, all pale in comparison. So to your health, a votre sante, prost and whatever the Flemish equivalent is. We will find out and report back.
