Luxembourg

21 September 2008- Weekend of Patrimonie or the weekend everything that you can't see in Paris or France is finally and only open this weekend. We decided to visit the Senate building at Luxembourg. Good choice. The only more elegant and spacious chateau I have visited is Versailles. Holy cow! I am supposed to head here on Wednesday for my tour group but special to visit the inside of the palace. Originally built in 1600 by Marie de Medici, now the official building of the Senat. no e, this is France.

This is of the small private garden between the official building of the Senat and the president of the Senat's office. Very nice. There is a small clay tennis court in back of this. Of course, this is France. Chad joked that several decisions must be decided out on that clay. Possible, this is France.
This was the windshield of a car we saw on our way home from the pub. Chad was good and deserved a treat. This guy has got to be close to getting his license revoked for points. 6 tickets must be getting close.
Today we had a picnic at Luxembourg with a family. The children crashed the lovey-dovey coupling we saw. Might as well get them used to children busting in. Plenty of wine and snacking filled our bellies. We instructed them on the joys of gelato nearby the Pantheon. OOh so good. We left the kiddos on their sugar high to get home on the bus with weary parents. They go to school tomorrow so maybe they should be sleeping well tonight anyways.
Chad is probably off to training in the Caribbean this week. I didn't want to go, and tickets are beyond last minute so trop cher (very expensive). Plenty to do this week and plenty to do.
Got to get off the blog as my fantasy football widow status window is closing and Chad has to check his teams. Bonne semaine!
