Again the chilliness is in the air. No snow, yet. It is supposed to be chilly thru Friday. Hoping for good weather Friday as I am boarding a jet plane to PHX. Not much warmer there but my Moms and rental house need some eyes-on-attention. Facetime it is!
Something odd has be pondering me. Today's generation will never know the beauty of BMG or Columbia House. Unless you are stealing music off the internet, no way are they getting it 12 CDs for 1cent. Poor younguns. They don't know the beauty of the CD sale (buy one, get three free) or need stacks of space for jewel boxes. Heck they may not even know what a jewel box is, shocking.
Recap on the CFS from Saturday night. The wonderful ness of white gravy is it is a taste enhancer. Goodson's recognized this and puts it entirely on the side. Lovely to dial in your own level of soak on the steak And Tyler Florence had his recipe in the Parade magazine on Sunday. Of course his was sacrilege and he volunteered Ribeyes instead of the regular tenderized round steak. Are you crazy chef guy? Not for country food, no good cuts of meat ever in country food.
Not much else, just rambling until I figure out what is living in my lungs. And yes, the nurse answering the phones recognized my voice. Awesome but not all at the same time.
