London recap

Here are the London Tourist Photos as promised. This navigator/tour guide is exhausted. Two weeks on the go in two large cities, time for some laundry, relaxation, and general nothingness.

We had a blast in London. Lots seen and the city was so nicely decorated for Christmas with lights and such. Several new pubs were visited and we mostly relied on the bus instead of the tube for getting around. Cheaper, and more interesting sights to be seen on the streets of London. Super easy, just have to determine the direction you want, then cross the street to get the bus going in that direction.

We tried to get inside the Temple Church several times. I guess we didn't know the Temple secret of their schedule. Just adds to the controversy surrounding this organization.

Harrods food halls were visited several times. Snacks and dried goods were purchased with the English/Egyptian flare. Amazing store and crowds.

We took in the Borough market to find cheap eats. Almost too many to choose from. Chad found a supplier of American ales. We sampled the sausages, falafel, empanadas and tarts. We then found a pub with Ale Trail t-shirts (first 3 visited had none). We then returned home to our rental apartment to pack and get ready for part 2 of the trip: Paris.
