Plentiful Bounty...

We found the bus to take us further east to our location, the Mayflower. The pub/restaurant is close to the dock location that our fateful ancestors, the Pilgrims, took sail to get out of repressive England. Even Captain Jones is buried nearby in an unmarked grave.
We arrived and cheered on as the fixed menu for that night was thanksgiving themed. Turkey with all the trimmings and even pumpkin pie as a dessert option. A bit pricey (we have been doing the cheap pub dinners) but figured it was worth the expense for someone else cooking the complete dinner.
We dined like the Pilgrims and left quite stuffed and feeling very much like we were back home, loosening the pants and needing football to lull us asleep. A bit of rain on the way home and soon I was snug in the bed ready for the tryptophan to kick in.
Cheers to all and hope you had a happy thanksgiving. Buy us something good today in your Black Friday shopping.
