Ah, can you ever have too many pictures of the lovely Gustav Eiffel's tower? I doubt it, have hundreds but this is the latest from the river cruise taken with my parents.

Today should be a crazy travel day. We fly out at 6pm and land at our destination Split, Croatia at 10pm. I hope the Obama family chooses to fly in earlier today. Otherwise things will be crazier than usual at the worst airport.

The Obamas are going to be hanging out in Paris, since we will not be, how nice of them to take our place! They will be in town to head to Normandy tomorrow for the 65th anniversary of the landings on D-Day. Good blessings for such a remembrance and much thanks to those who survived it and those who are still in France. Proud to be an American even if I have a huge soft spot for France.

Wish us luck on our latest travels. No computer (again) so you will have to wait until our return for photos, updates and general Croatian fun. A tout a l'heure!
